# Introduction

Most of the rules you'll want to build in Marble will use historical or contextual data. For example, you might want to create a rule checking if a user's login location has already been used before or is part of a list of locations you defined as high risk in your system (see [Use cases](https://docs.checkmarble.com/docs/use-cases)).

The Marble data model is designed to save all the data you'd need for your rules following a structure that is both natural and easy to use for your risk team. It admits five types of object:

1. [Individuals](https://docs.checkmarble.com/docs/individuals)
2. [Businesses](https://docs.checkmarble.com/docs/businesses)
3. [Accounts](https://docs.checkmarble.com/docs/accounts)
4. [Transactions](https://docs.checkmarble.com/docs/transactions)
5. [Events](https://docs.checkmarble.com/docs/events)
